This week, we heard of a young friend having an accident in his yard while putting up a cedar playset for his son. J ay was injured pretty badly but will heal. He had a 6" cut from the front area of his head to the back of his head requiring many staples and stitches. That in itself was bad enough but a portion of his earlobe was cut off and the doctors had to reattach it. He has a skull fracture and needs to be watched closely for a while in hopes that there won't be swelling or damage that will cause his epilespy control to change. He is at home recuperating.

You know, God was amazing through this. Faith, Jay's wife, happened to be home and saved his life by acting quickly to get him to the hospital. Had she not been there, he would have bled to death. Secondly, they had moved to Mandeville, LA and Keith and Martha were able to get to them quickly for support. Thirdly, Jay was able to return home that night for the healing process. Forth, there were prayers that began as soon as a few were notified and it made a difference. As long as God is in control and you have faith in HIM, you can handle whatever comes your way. It may seem difficuilt at times but knowing that HE is there for you, makes all the difference in the world.
