Today is our grandson's first birthday. He is really a cool guy "Ben". It seems strange not being with him today on this special day but we did get to see him last weekend. He is visiting with his other grandparents today. They have their anniversary this weekend and Sarah's sisters are all home for a visit.

Ben is a smart, happy little fellow with all the hugs one could want. Maybe he won't grow out of sharing them for a while. He enjoys jabbering, walking and smiling most of the time. He also enjoys eating all kinds of food.

So today, I hope his day is extra special and fun. I hope he knows we are thinking about him and love him so much.
